I'm a graduate of the Vancouver Film School's writing program. Before that, I worked at a certain national chain of movie theatres for four years. They started grooming me for higher levels of management. They actually shipped me out to the corporate office to train me. After that, I realized it wasn't what I wanted to do, so I quit and went to film school. Best decision I've ever made. Needless to say, I love film.

I'm reading a book called Novel. It's pretty awesome
"Shocking," "horrific," "appaling" have been common words to describe the film and the book Fight Club. Harsh words. Maybe I'm being unfair. words like "brilliant" and "masterpiece" have also been used for both. The book is Chuck Palahniuk's first novel, an instant hit and he has since established himself as an important author for modern America. The book is a dark, frightening look at our society, consumerism, hopelessness and scewed morality. Powerful and compelling, it almost satire's our entire culture.
