The first thing you can do to learn English as a second language in your home is to open your mind. Open your mind to learning something new. Open your mind to welcoming a new language, and understanding that you can still keep your own, too. Watch television in English. I know that listening to television in Spanish has helped me to learn Spanish, so it can help the Spanish-speaking (0r those with other native languages) to learn English.
