About me - Cheyenne Crossett

About me

Salutations, hello, hi, what's up, or simply - how goes it? My name is Cheyenne M. Crossett. I currently reside in West Phoenix, Arizona but I'm entertaining the possibility of moving back to my place of birth with my mother, father, younger brother, and the man I like to call my 'main squeeze', Khamryn. I am nineteen years old, turning the big 2-0 in late April which makes me a Taurus and a proud one at that. Tee hee. I'm everything you expect from a Earth sign identified by the sign of the Bull (although it can be argued that my strong sense of Irish heritage could have a hand in it as well). I'm stubborn, opinionated, independent, determined, fiercely loyal to those who gain my trust, diplomatic, well-educated, passionate, artistic, seduced by la vie boheme (the bohemian life), and more than easy to warm up to even in the first five seconds of knowing me. Sound a little megalomaniacal? Well, that's a noTAURiously common trait amongst those of born in late April as well - but we're not all bad. ;-) I'd love to share the more meaningful details of myself with whomever is interested so please, feel free to IM me on either Yahoo! (friendly_neighborhood_stalker) or AIM (xvxbloodmoonxvx) or to send me a Message or Friend Request on Myspace (www.myspace.com/h0oligan). 'Til then - "May the road rise up to meet you, may the wind be forever at your back, may God hold you in the palm of his hand to find you Heaven half an hour before the Devil knows you're dead."

Briefly me

My passion is ...

Self-Enlightenment, betterment, and the pursuit of knowledge.

I know too much about ...

An entire bank of random facets of life, some more valuable than others (to the naked eye).

My parents always told me ...

"What the Hell were you thinking!?"

My childhood ambition ...

To help animals and to be anyone but who I was.

My favorite memory ...

Being at camp, where I was finally home.

Why I write ...

To give life to an emotion, clarity to a vision, or meaning to a moment; thus, having once been all my own, these vessels of self-expression can now embody the hearts and minds of others to interpret via thier own perspective. Writing allows me to open the eyes of others to my own vision by teaching them to blur the lines between THIER reality and MY imagination until. A truly talented writer can lead a reader to that common ground through the powerful craft of the written word.

My first job ...

I checked tires, greeted customers, wrote service tickets, and polished bright yellow guard railings at a Lube Shop downtown. My boyfriend got me the job and it was by far one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I went home everyday sore, exhausted, greasy, sweaty, starving and sore in the cheeks -- from smiling all day long. I loved that job more than I probably will any other job I have in the future.

My best moment ...

There are too many moments and it would be an insult to the others to disenfranchize them by suggesting thier worth be less than that of yet another moment passed.

My inspiration ...

Life. People. Nature. Questions and answers. Emotions and thoughts. Music and poetry. Pains and pleasures, successes and failures, heartbreaks and lifted spirits -- every unspoken heartbeat that keeps me alive just the little bit longer... just to see what will captivate me next. I spent too many years taking my life for granted -- I'm not letting anything pass by unexamined and unappreciated.

Entertainment > Musicians & Bands Theories on the death of Kurt Cobain

"...I don't have a gun..." - Lyric; 'Come As You Are' As can be found on a site called InDefenseofKurtCobain .com, all of the information stated in the article left by the originator of this thread all has a pretty firm foundation for alternative opinion and/or belief concerning the tragic passing of one of our young generation's greatest musical (and altogether human) minds. It has also been said, in addition to blaming Courtney Love, that Love's 'boyfriend' was the person who actually carried out the alleged staged suicide. In addition, it has been argued that the album art on the back o...
