About me

Who am I? I'm just an ordinary, everyday joe that's just trying to figure out how the world works. In light of my view of what I've seen in this world, the Bible has shown me many things to be true, and often weird. I don't say I believe it because it's weird, but when real prophecies and history that occurred after the fact line up, it's awfully convincing.

I'm essentially a guy who enjoys playing guitar, singing, writing music and diffferent types of literature to include fiction and non-fiction stuff. Though I'm not accomplished by any means, I figure I'd rather hone my skills while I'm a nobody, so that one day if I'm ever a somebody, I won't look like to much of an idiot as if I had never tried to grow in such areas.

I stand firm in my belief in the Bible as God's Word (or promise) to us, for many reasons, but more importantly because I recognize and believe who and what Jesus Christ was. I hope and pray my writings display such a devotion to the Truth as it is.

Currently, I'm a senior at Cedarville University attempting to attain my Bachelor's Degree in Youth Ministry (which is what I consider to be a very hard Bible degree). Since I have been in school for over 10 years (college, not high school), and have been working for the Air Force since 1998, both as an enlisted man and now as a consultant, I would like to say that I have attained at least some wisdom professionally and theologically.

Though I can't speak from an outsider's perspective, I would have to say that if I had to describe me, I would be a bit brash, but in love with Christ, firm in my belief in the Bible, and to some, known as a non-violent "extremist". After reading my work, you tell me.

Have you ever noticed the correlation between vampires and Christianity? There's a lot of things that happen within vampire movies that seem related to Christianity, but originally, it was really hard for me to put a finger on exactly why. For example, the cross repels the vampires. How come symbols of other religions don't effect vampires? How come the star of David has no effect? Though we all know that the idea of Dracula and vampires have mysteriously spread throughout the world, I question why. Honestly, I think Bram Stoker attempted to integrate a part of his life into a story line t...
