About me - Marie-Caroline Vidican

About me

I was born in England 63 years ago but have lived in France for 45 of them. I have worked most of my life in the field of languages, but am now retired and living by the sea at the very tip of the Finistere in Brittany. I have two adult children who live in the States and in England, and two grandsons. I am divorced and live alone with a dachshund and an unsociable cat. I am surrounded by the sea and go to the beach most days.

I have become very arty, painting, sculpture, pottery and knitting. Never a day goes by without some sort of creation going on. My garden takes up some of my time too.

I'm quite a foodie, are you surprised, I live in France, and we get such lovely fish and seafood where I live.

I have always wished to write, but have never been published. Now I am retired I have time to reach my goal.

My private email is mcvidican@gmail .com, don't hesitate to contact me!

Last year was E, this year it's F. And so on through the alphabet with some rare exceptions (no W or X for instance, too few words in the French language for that to work). They have a kennel name, affixed or suffixed to the name with the chosen letter. This greatly reduces the choice of names, which actually saves a lot of time. But if you want to call your dog by a particular name, you sometimes have to...
