About me - Cate Siegle

About me

I started skiing when I was 18 months. Some people say "You were skiin' before you were walkin'". I was born and raised in Vermont. I have always felt as though my life has been written out many years before I was born, and I make sure I scramble the story.

I'm not a bad kid, that's for sure. I haven't ever been to prison, let alone detention. I hate being late to anything and I think the first impression shouldn't count. If I could write my story, I'd erase the whole thing and leave a blank page for me to fill up later.

My name is Caitlin Marie Siegle. I'm sixteen years old and I live on earth. I'm given more opportunities than average teenagers are, but I have the worst of luck.

I feel like I'm very plain. I only wear makeup on very special occasions (funerals). I'm 5' 10" and I weigh around 170 lbs. I have blue eyes with an orange ring around my pupil so they really look green. I have shoulder length hair. It consists of a natural streak of blonde that's dyed and different tone of brown along with an amber red tone. My younger brother broke my nose when we were little so I have an ugly nose.

When I was around 4 years old my parents decided to call it quits and split up. From then on I felt estranged from my dad.

There have been points in my life when I've felt like someone is trying to fill in the father figure, of my life, slot. They don't realize it's already occupied.

My sister is 11 years older then me, and although I don't like to admit it, she's only my half sister. Sometimes, I feel like she's more my mom then my own mom is. She's the only person I can be real to.

My closest relatives outside my immediate family are my mom's youngest sister's family. She has three kids; Rob, who is a couple months older then me; Tim, who is four years older, then Rob and me; and Jess, who is four years older then Tim.

Rob and I grew up together. I learned to whistle first but he knew how to spell "EVAPORATION" way before I could spell "HOT DOG". Rob made the Spelling Bee in sixth grade, I didn't.

If I was a color I would be a very deep blue because even though I'm plain, I'm not simple. I have five different laughs, one when I'm nervous, one when I'm tired, one when I'm with friends, one when I'm with relatives, and one when I'm with the guy I like at that moment.

I'm not a player, but I haven't been with a guy for longer then a week. I just haven't been with a guy. I'm sensitive and flirtatious, and I probably know guys and their wants better then some girls do. Maybe that's why I haven't been with a guy since eighth grade. Supposedly, they do grow up, but not until they're around 30.

If Adam and Eve were the only two people left on the planet, and Adam was the average male 16 year old and Eve was the average Female 16 year old, I would much rather hang out with Adam, unless he was with Eve.

Creative Writing > Memoirs Memoirs: Your dream car

Everyday, waking up and knowing I have a full twenty minutes drive to my school. Knowing I'm going to be behind the wheel of my car, gripping it until my knuckles turn white. Knowing it will bounce up and down when I cruise over slight bumps in the road. So what if I need new shocks. I'll get them at some point in my life, maybe after my wheels fall off. I strive to feel that adrenaline rush of "out of control-ness", I just hope my mom's not in the car, and my brother doesn't tell her. Being introduced to my car was like going on a first date. Pulling into Estey's Hardware to help my mom o...
