I am a 21 year old journalism student. I attend Southeast Community College in Lincoln, Nebraska. I am majoring in journalism because I want to be a newspaper reporter in the near future. I am an advocate for ethical reporting and justice, both of which are lacking in the journalism field. I am a Christian and have a strong belief in God and in truth, which is why the above two things are so important to me. In addition to writing newspaper articles I also write poetry and fiction. I have written in the areas of fantasy, science fiction, military fiction, automotive-racing fiction and Christian-spiritual fiction.

Walking through the sand in a distant land
Protecting the freedom on which we stand
Fighting for the peace of one and all
Hoping that no soldier will fall
