Mr. Powers is a filmmaker having starred in the independent film JACK O'LANTERN and produced several feature length films (HELL'S END, BAD LAND)for the production company Southlan-Films (www.southlan-films.com). He has writen several articles that have appeared in the publications Citizens of America and Indie Slate magazine as well as publishes film reviews and an on-line graphic novel on his website (www.brokenlighthousepictures.com/blog). He is currently expanding his writing talents to other avenues as well as prepping several film productions for the coming year.

Director Guillermo del Toro's previous film HELLBOY wasn't the greatest comic book to film adaptation but it had charm and whit and showed what del Toro could really do if given the opportunity to direct a full on comic book film (he previously directed the comic book film BLADE 2).
