: About Me

I'm a full time writer living in England. I currently run film and culture website Strange Conversation and I'm the Editor of a construction trade magazine printed and distributed throughout the UK and Ireland. In the past I was a staff writer for the UK's leading online film review website DVD Times for five years (www.dvdtimes.co.uk).

I have written and directed several short films, and have most recently completed a handful of short documentaries for Current TV and Channel 4's 3 Minute Wonder strand of television programmes.

I have recently begun work on my film site: www.top10films.co.uk which will be a film-finder resource based on a variety of criteria and sorted in hundreds of Top 10 lists expertly chosen.

I am currently working on a new website dedicated to 1980s cinema.

to stop hitting my sister (When I was about five years old)! Wouldn't dream of hitting her now, she'd pummel me!

Why I write ...

I've always enjoyed writing...whether it be fiction or non-fiction. I wrote short stories as a child and always dreamt of writing a novel.
