I am a poet and artist. So... writing non-fiction is a hobby. In this day and age in America, I still find that women aren't supposed to have an opinion about anything outside of the home. I guess I've never really learned "my place"...
I have been a poet since about 1979. I've been published and am in the process of putting out several chapbooks and workbooks. I have 2 chapbooks of poetry ready (with a 3rd in progress) and 2 workbooks (on grieving and diet behavior modification/education). I've also just begun to research the geneology of Fitch, Webster, Scott and Schick lines. It turns out that I may be distantly related to Percy Bysshe Shelley and Alfred Lord Tennyson.
I did my primary art work in portraits in the medium of pencil or ink. An auto accident prompted a medium change to oil painting and watercolors.
My primary objective in life right now is learning to get beyond physical pain, fatigue and sleep deprivation. That's what I waste most of my time doing. My lipids panel and A1c tests are showing a slow progress.
I would like to say thank you in advance to anyone who sends me constructive feedback on my articles.
I chose not to use my real name to prevent or stem harassment and manipulation by a stalker.
