Hmmm... I'm all over the page. I'm equal parts coffeehouse philosopher, eccentric cat lady, noncomformist bohemian uber-mom, deep intellectual, hopeless romantic, author, and neurotic pain-in-the-rear. I only pretend to be responsible Monday-Friday and spoil my inner child by letting her run wild whenever I can.
My wants are simple... That sublime feeling you get from the first snowfall, from an old song that makes you reminisce about misspent youth, picnics on an autumn afternoon, memories that make you laugh until you can't breathe then til you cry, my kids on Christmas mornings, horseback trips up into the mountain air, fishing until midnight, first kisses that are warm like tropical sun on your skin - all those things rolled up into one feeling.
And I'd really like to be a great novelist one day... I am a copywriter now working on my first manuscript for publishing although I have published through my industry many times over.

the world around me and my children. There is inspiration everywhere as long as you look from in front of the glass.
The record skips and pops as the needle is dropped into place. A few seconds of vinyl noise and Glenn Miller's 'Moonlight Serenade' fills the small bar, bringing a lone couple onto the dance floor. I watch them there, swaying on the dance floor, seeing only each other in the small clearing near the old phonograph, and inhale deeply on my cigarette. The smoke drifts upward into a hazy cloud and through it, I see him watching me.
