: About Me

My name is Zachary Heil, and I've got legs. I'm also a musician and writer, but consider all forms of art as open territory. Give me any instrument, and I can compose you something. Just as well, give me any form of art, and I'll thoroughly express my ideas in that medium. I admire and encourage artistic expression in everyone I know and meet. I would especially hope that my own art could inspire, influence, or comfort other people. My other hobbies are: computers, music recording, reading, video games, board games, learning, researching, and much more.

When it comes to life, I have a philosophical and political stand point, something that can be attuned to humanists and liberals. I dislike racism very much, as well as any other forms of willful ignorance. I try not to offend others intentionally, but make no exceptions if I'm speaking the truth.

The fact that I am empathetic and concerned of many things, is very apparent in my earlier articles on here. I try even harder to remain objective and take a journalistic approach, but sometimes the articles demand an opinion, or so it seems. However, since this is the about me section, I won't refrain from using "I" all the time.

With the current state of America, I'm often depressed about our future. Education drastically dwindles on all fronts, while the cost of everything sky-rockets. Ignorance is as prevalent as ever, and as a result America is often seen as a fraction of what it used to be. Growing up, I was proud to be who I was, and proud to be where I'm from. Midwest America, with all of it's lush plants, beautiful wildlife, and paralyzing humidity. :) I had a fun time growing up, and I often still do. However, there was a time when i started realizing more and more, that there's always ONE person (at least) out there, to ruin it for you.

I would love, more than anything else, to be able to make a living as a freelance musician and writer. The word "work" would cease to have any significant meaning, if that dream was fulfilled.

An autumn breeze collected a chill that seemed to linger more, after the call. Her innocent, broken heart-reflected in stifled words-told me of your passing time. My confusion and disbelief, seemed to set everyone else at unease; they knew something was wrong, but were not aware that I was grieving.
