Student, print/web journalism major. News writer for The All State Newspaper (www.theallstate.com). Previous Valley Voices staff writer for Chattanooga Times-Free Press. I love to write, voice opinions, and inform others of what goes on around me - I guess because nothing is happening in my own life. I spend lots of time grooming, like a cat, taking care of myself and getting my work done. That's the highlight of my life right now. I'm all about myself. I worry about my issues and goals before those of others people. That way, I can help others better. How can one pull another out of a pit without pulling himself out first? My future goal is to become an editor of a magazine, preferably in fashion or health. I tend to be a "go-to" person for information and this helps me extend that characteristic even further."
My passion is ...
success...it is the only way one can feel fufilled in life
I know too much about ...
myself, that tends to make me appear narcissistic, which isn't true.
My parents always told me ...
to worry about me and not others...I can't help but to worry about others but in the end, it is I who matters most.
My childhood ambition ...
to become a famous scientist. I had an unsurmountable amount of knowledge about science as a child.
My favorite memory ...
playing in my elementary school playground...it makes me cry when I remember how simple things were.
Why I write ...
I have much to say about things and I often go unheard. I believe that I will lose my voice first before my voice can be completely heard.
What I am reading/watching/listening to ...
Skinny Bitch (and other health references)/Cartoons/Classical Music
My first job ...
Creative Discovery Museum - this helped me express my love for science and creativity
My best moment ...
Walking the Walnut St. Bridge - Chattanooga is the perfect city for the intellectual and creative minds to wander.
My inspiration ...
The ways of the universe. The creation of all things and why they are so. I want so badly to express my feelings about everything...which is why I write.
