I do believe that some filtered water makes for better tea or coffee, but I have to admit that the question is a subjective one. Taste is a personal thing and just because I think that the taste is different between the two waters, I wouldn't argue strongly with someone who doesn't. Taste comparisons are not objective. The reason I said "some" filtered water tastes different is that you have to consider that there are different filters and they do not all remove the same things.
