I have a B.S. in Health Promotion and  I am currently working towards a Masters degree in Health Studies.  I also hold certification in the health education field.

I have always been a passionate reader, and found that I was a passionate writer in high school.  I write as a hobby but would eventually like to make it a more permanent part of my life.

I also enjoy spending time with my husband and our cats, cooking, taking photographs, and listening to music.

Finding ways to help others and make a difference (even a small one) in the world.

I have a wealth of useless facts rambling around in my head. That is why I like to play Jeopardy.

My childhood ambition ...

I remember a time when I wanted to be a waitress, I also remember a time when I wanted to be a marine biologist. I really think it depended upon on the day.

My favorite memory ...

I have so many favorite memories that I don't think I could pick just one. Many of them are just memories of everyday things, nothing spectacular, but they have stuck with me through the years.

Why I write ...

Writing is many things to me. I write to relieve stress, I write because I think maybe it can make a difference for someone, and I write because I love it.

Working at a local sandwich shop when I was 16.
