Ah, the horror flick. I came of age during the 80's when Jason Voorhees was entertaining the masses by wreaking vengeance on unsuspecting over-sexed teen counselors up at Crystal Lake. Horror films in the 80's were no-holds-barred killing extravaganzas, infused with such obvious camp that a movie-goer could actually revel in the suspension of disbelief rather than revile it.
