Am retired from the telecommunications business, but not from the workforce. After letting go of my lucrative position with the phone company, I decided to start my own business doing installs for business and residential customers. I did ok until the telcoms decided to practically give away cell phones. That wiped my business right out of the playing field. No one wants to pay for hard wired phones anymore these days, everything is for "on the go". With that staring me in the face, I had to redirect my vocation, and find a different way to earn my keep.
I found this web site accidently and decided to join to see what I could do, so far I'm pretty pleased with Helium. To date I've earned a total of .02 cents, but since I'm not in it for the money, I will be content with those pennies, I'm more interested in acquiring stars.
At present I am concentrating on writing short stories for children, I hope to post one on this site soon and hopefully I will get a good review for my story. I think its good, my daughter liked it and so did her friends, they qualify because they are kids, & when a kid approves something you just gotta luv it.

These politicians who are "running" the country are there because they have one thing in common; the What's in it for me syndrome! They have made politics their life, they go to schools and colleges, graduate with degrees that mean nothing, beca...
