I am a Soldier in the United States Army. I recently got out of my own way with writing and kicked off GurujesseWriting to get into the freelance world. I am currently working on two fiction books. I have a little over two years toward a BA in Middle Eastern Studies.
I am most comfortable when writing research pieces dealing with the humanities and cultural issues, though I like to dabble in many other fields as well. The study of people, especially ancient cultures, has always been a favorite of mine, though. The fiction work is a bit slow-going right now because I'm worrying more about finding my voice than adding content, but I plan to have both books completed by the end of 2010.
