: About Me

I am a Registered Nurse and a freelance commercial writer. I am also a single mother to a soon to be 12 year old little girl. I have been writing since I could hold a writing implement and I am happiest when I am just letting my ideas flow onto paper. I believe words have power and it gives me a thrill every time I pick up a book or a magazine. I am a google addict. I keep my laptop under my bed so that if I am so inclined I can whip it out at 3am to google the name of the actor from that movie that time. I am so enamored with the internet. To have so much information at my fingertips leaves me giddy with power.

I get bored easily which is why I ultimately ended up writing as a career. I have done everything from sell $5000.00 palm trees to build baby furniture. The only thing that my numerous careers qualifies me for is to write. I hope that people read my articles and find that they have learned something or if not that at least it has stirred something in them.

was cold calling landscape companies to see if they wanted to buy palm trees.
