I am a Journalist student: I currently study at the University of Sunderland. I am a songwriter and have a keen interest in music. I enjoy writing in general. I have wrote: stories, poems, short stories, prose, songs, and seperate lyrics for years. I studied english in my education. I enjoy playing guitar - my favorite band is The Beatles.

I am not a goth. However, I know that goth's and any other subculture are judged, criticized and in some instances victimised for the way that they dress. Yes, I think that people should have the right to wear what they please; and I think that other people should have the maturity to respect their rights of choice. The gothic dress code is peculiar -nonetheless its no more peculiar than any of the other youth subcultures out there and I think that this intimidates people.
