I am so excited to be here! Wow. Ok. Anyway, I am a single mother of two boys, ages 14 and 17. My children are my world. But I do live in another universe, and that is Universe of the writer. I have been exploring that wonderful universe since I was a young child. At the age of twelve, I sent in one of those small writing pads with a childhood story/autobiography written in it.
I sent it in to a publishing company and they sent me a wonderful rejection letter (is there such a thing?). They suggested that I wait until I was older to send in another manuscript. I didn't expect my writers' block to last some 30 years, but, oh well. I am back in the saddle again, riding it hard, and glad to be back, especially in a writers' saddle such as this one.

We have added a few others to this (admittedly incomplete) list. Occasionally they have an ironic effect, or a reader might like them (this writer loves "sands of time") but usually faculty members mark them as inappropriate:" all walks of life give the devil his due never a dull moment behind the eight ball hook, line, and sinker nipped in the bud bitter end by hook or crook patience of Job calm befor...
