Raised in New York City, now living happily in the Atlanta area with spouse and cat.
Earned my MPH at Columbia University in 2000. After working in public health in the government for eight years, decided to get free, and am now an independent consultant for government and non-governmental clients. Health communications writing is my primary specialty.
Prior to getting my Master's, I worked with homeless and runaway youth and practiced as a Licensed Midwife in New Mexico for several years.
I am a competitive fencer, and enjoy photography, figuring out how to grow vegetables in Atlanta's wonderfully long growing season, and traveling.
