Christian, wife of a terrific guy who is my knight in shining armor, blessed mother of four wonderful adult children, (a nurse, a craftsman, a successful mgr, and a sailor in USN) grandmother, mom in law, and mom by love, auntie, daughter, sister, and niece. I am a poet, Helium writer, avid reader, actress, lousy housewife, smart aleck ... ... ... ... ... ...
I also had the fortune of havng all four grandparents, and five great grandparents while growing up. In fact we reached 5 generations - twice!
In most groups I tend to end up being, the confidant, camp counselor, and /or the go to person for safety pins, needles, etc, a.k.a. the "Office mom".
I love crafting, nature, traveling, most animals, and people of all shapes sizes, and ages.

Bring the best of home with you, but leave the clutter there. Most of us travel for one of two reasons, 1st for our work, 2nd to get away from our work. Either way making a hotel room exactly like home would be difficult, and may be counterproductive. Lugging framed photographs, and knick knacks is impracticle, and heavy. That said, bring a few things to make your stay more comfortable. Your pillow, "0 my own, mine own." Most of us sleep best on our own familiar pillow.
