Jessica Hughey has been a freelance writer since 1995. She began writing for her own community website for women in business, called Webmistress@Work, where she provided members with articles and advice on marketing their businesses, successfully through the use of public relations, publicity and search engine optimization. Jessica was once interviewed for an article on internet marketing, which was published in PC World Magazine. In addition to writing and maintaining a blog for baby boomers called "Boomer's Bridge" at http://www.boomersbridge.com/, Jessica also writes regularly for Examiner.com, Suite101.com and Demand Studios. Aside from freelance writing, Jessica is also somewhat of a technophile, having worked in the business world as a technical support representative for a major software publisher, while pursuing professional certifications in all Microsoft Office products as well as A+ certification. She is also a certified paralegal. Though she no longer works in the field of law, Jessica often writes on subjects regarding constitutional law, the court system, and bankruptcy, in addition to her work in technology, software tutorials and internet marketing.
My passion is ...

...the law. I am a certified paralegal and learned more than I needed to know about how the law works.
My parents always told me ...
"If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all."
My childhood ambition ...
...was to be a teacher.

Why I write ...
I write to give me an outlet for my creative energies and all the topics that are tumbling around in my mind at any given moment.
What I am reading/watching/listening to ...
Reading: Joomla Manual. Watching: Grey's Anatomy Listening to: whatever strikes my fancy at the moment.
My first job ...
...was as a dishwasher in a seafood restaurant.
My best moment ...
...is yet to come.
My inspiration ...
