Hi, My nick name is Ree. No one actually calls me Ann Marie. I live in New England with my family. I love Cape Cod, the seasons, and especially the changing colors of a New England Fall. I am currently a Student Support Facilitator in a local elementary school. I work with and learn from children on the Autistic Spectrum. My writing talent comes in handy in my work becuase, kids with Autistism enjoy learning with pictures and "social stories" are a great tool. It is also easier for kids to remember rules if you put them in a rhyme. I enjoy my job because I have creative freedom there.
I have loved writing since I had my first emotion as a teen. I write passionate, fun, friendly, happy, silly, (did I say passionate?)poetry. Some of my poetry I have turned into children's books that I hope to publish over the next year. (oh boy)
My hobbies include graphic art. I am trying to find time to learn Photo Shop. I enjoy camping on the Cape in the Summer. Its a far cry from the backpacking hiking camp trips we took with my boys (now Military men). We have a daughter now and camp in a big camper with a bathroom and all the luxury of home.
My mantra for 2008 is... I am a published author... I am a published author...just awaiting my windfall... and slowly getting there...sure!

You actually could be cradling a hero deep in your womb. This precious child will change the course of your future, and possibly the world. It is most important to keep this experience positive.
