Tips for raising children on a military base: I am a base brat, born and raised. I have lived on many bases in my life time. The same community values are attributed to all military bases. This makes raising a family as well as moving to a new area which happens often, much easier. As a mother I know that raising a child is one of the toughest jobs out there.
