My professional background is primarily in advertising and public relations. Negotiating with advertisers and television stations has given me the training to anticipate the needs of clients and write exactly what they want with the voice and tone they want.

I've also worked with authors and publishers helping to promote children's books through press releases and promotional articles. My press releases for the promotional tour of the Inky Winky Spider book series helped to land it a spot at the Boston Children's Book Festival.

I enjoy freelance writing in my spare time and have contributed to entertainment and hard news sites. I write everything from odd news stories to serious matters.

I am currently a stay at home mom to 2 boys. When I'm not chasing them around, you can find me curled up with a good book or daydreaming about writing the next book series phenomenon.
