About me - Ian Farquharson

About me

I am a 44 year old gentleman currently living in Bangkok, Thailand with my family. However I am a born and bred Scot who worked in the Civil Engineering industry as a Highway Engineer for 20 years. I have also worked as a share trader and continue to do this. I have written for a number of sites including Associated Content where i wrote a lot of sports articles particularly about English football (soccer) and also other topics which interest me. I also wrote for Constant Content on topics as diverse as astronomy, lakes, State Parks and soccer. I enjoy researching and writing articles as well as turining my hand to the odd short story or creative writing. I have written many articles for Helium on a range of topics and will continue to do so in the future.

The sun shone down mercilessly on the stagecoach as it raced through the barren desert landscape. The heat and dust was the least of the concerns for the driver and passengers though. Hot lead filled the air around the stagecoach and it was a miracle that the bullets hadn’t injured or killed anyone. Only one passenger had a gun and he had been keeping the following men at bay for over half-an-hour. The stagecoach driver whipped the horses hard.
