Currently I work as a translator the broad biomedical field. Prior to that, I spent many years as scientist and information specialist, specialising in in vitro methods in toxicology. I am educated to PhD level.
I enjoy listening to many types of music except jazz and pop, and also play a bit of folk. I've travelled quite a bit around Europe and lived abroad for a while.

Is the villanelle is more suitable than the sonnet to express passion? My answer is yes, but with reservations.
