I love cooking with whole wheat pasta for various reasons. It is packed with the nutrients from the wheat bran that are stripped off in the processing of regular pasta. It’s also full of protein and fiber, which makes it very filling. Plus, it has this wonderful, nutty flavor to it. I am always looking for ways to bump up the flavor and cut down the fat in any dish, including pasta dishes.
