ETTORE (TED) DE GRAZIA (1909 - 1982) Ted DeGrazia was one of the most prominent impressionists in painting, illustration and graphic arts first in Arizona and then all over America. Best known for his pastel images of Western scenes, Ted was born on June 14, 1909, in Morenci, a mining town in Arizona. He spent the first eleven years of his life in Morenci as the son of an Italian immigrant that worked for the Phelps Dodge Company as a copper miner.
