About me

A lot of the articles I intend to write will be prefaced with Plain English Article. I think technical knowledge of a subject, unfortunately, has a tendency to compel people to show off what they know, but then, who better to ask for advice? Right? There is barely a middle ground between knowing how to fix something, and knowing almost everything there is to know about it. The middle ground I've found is in language. Plain English Articles are articles in which I endeavor to take a complicated subject and word in ways that make it easier to understand. I also aim to minimize the technical knowledge necessary to actually fix something, and replace that rather with very simple directions. I will usually offer a few words of background information on the subject, in plain English, but I'd like to construct my articles in a way in which even the little background I offer can be skipped, and get you right to the fixes. The technical information, after all, is available everywhere- but sifting through it can be daunting.

*Authors note. I will apply a few, if any, of these conditions to my other articles, and simply allow each individual assignment to dictate the style of my response. If you're looking for quick fixes, look for Plain English.

If you change your oil without reseting the oil light, its sensors fully believes that the oil has not been changed at all, therefore the oil light itself might come on ...
