: About Me

I believe that everything happens for a reason. I also believe that there are no coincidences in life and that all things that seem coincidental, are really just preconceived by a power larger than myself at work in my life.

I was fortunate enough to lose my high demanding and very stressful job that enslaved me for 12 years.I now have the luxury of having the time to do what I truly love, writing. Writing is "soul therapy".You exercise everything else, why not your soul too? Also, you may have noticed I said fortunate enough to lose my job. I didn't always think of that life changing event in my world as a blessing, but as I continue on this journey that we all call "Life" I have come to the realization that there is a world out there that I haven't even had the chance to appreciate, let alone be a part of.

The last 5 months of my life have been a whirl wind of life changing events and chaos. What they say about the seasons of change are true. I am over coming my life's challenges and getting to know myself way more than I amcomfortable with at this point! Maybe you can relate to the things choose to share and write about, or maybe you will learn something that you never knew and think about something from an angle that you have never considered before. Besides, this outlet isn't just for me to spread a little food for thought, I'm hoping to learn some things myself!

Everyone always ponders the meaning of life. I guess the meaning to me would be to learn as much about each other as we can to prepare us for something bigger. You just never know what a person has to offer, especially if in your mind you might never accept the knowledge he or she posses because of your own petty biases or prejudices. The Internet is a beautiful thing because of this very reason! Embrace it!

My childhood ambition ...

To be the American Idol...just kidding, just kidding. I did THINK I could sing though, boy was I wrong!

My favorite memory ...

The first time I met my BF's family his nephew rolled the quad with me on it and I broke my collar bone. Let's just say the shock of it all had me reciting every not so nice word I could think of on the way to the hospital...and his mom was driving me. I couldn't help it I was sooo mad, I needed my arm for my line of work at the time it was a must have use of! LOL. We both laugh about it now though.

Deciding to go back to school and get a degree. P.S. I've been on the directors list since I started because I have maintained a GPA of 3.90 or higher! YaY Me!

My inspiration ...

Hope, faith, love, life, the challenges I'm faced with, my accomplishments, bitterness, embarrasment,curiosity, and any other emotion that gets envoked in me at any given moment. Sometimes when you are a writer you just know...I HAVE to write, RIGHT NOW!
