Blair Worthington loves an adventure and has spent much of her adult life living in various locations around the country, finding many of her own. With a belief that everyone has something unique to share, Blair enjoys meeting people and learning what their story is.
A writer since childhood, Blair won a poetry contest in her early years which helped pay for her first semester of college at a large state University. While in college, Blair worked in various jobs, wrote ads and obituaries for the newspaper, studied journalism and psychology and earned high marks in the School of Business. Ultimately, she captured a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a major in Marketing, a creative and practical major that has suited her well.
Blair volunteers by regularly donating blood to the American Red Cross. She also fulfills photography requests for Find-a-Grave.com, and has served as a literacy volunteer helping at-risk children gain confidence in their reading and writing skills.
Blair has had her articles published in print periodicals, newsletters, e-zines and other online sources.
At Helium, Blair writes on topics of interest to her, but also accepts assignments which offer a challenge. She is recognized as a Senior Writer in several broad subject areas.
An avid reader, Blair enjoys stories about real-life adventure, the unexplained, and nostalgia. Her perfect story would be make one laugh, make one cry and have a happy ending.
