About me

Ed Donner is a practicing clinical psychologist and freelance writer.  He has done research on a variety of psychological and physical health issues, but his true passion is helping people learn how to rise above their challenges to find satisfaction, meaning and purpose in life. He believes that humor is therapeutic, and should be applied liberally. He has a B.S. in Psychology from Ohio State University, and a Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Chicago.

Life does not have to end after you pass the half-century mark. Many will tell you that "it is all down hill after fifty", but I can personally testify that aging has some benefits. To paraphrase Greta Garbo, getting older is better than the alternative. Aside from that advantage, however, yes, it is pretty much all down hill after 50. But don't let this discourage you.
