I have been running a local charity for the last thirteen years which has resulted in opening two pregnancy crisis drop-in centres and a schools sexual health programme in the majority of our local secondary schools.
In my youth, I had a keen interest in photography as well as enjoying writing - particularly poems. I took a photo-journalism course which I thoroughly enjoyed and managed to get a couple of photos with write-ups published.
Now in my 50's and four children later, I am hoping to get back into writing and Helium seems to be a good set up where I like the idea of being part of a community of like-minded people.
