About me - Kat Ballew

About me

I love life, although my life has had its ups and downs, I believe that for everything that happens there is a reason, and what doesn't kill you will make you stronger!

I am blessed with three wonderful sons, a great daughter-in-law and a precious grandson. I am also blessed with good health, and yes, in these days and times,a job that I like! I work for the largest wine and spirits wholesale distributor in South Carolina. I have held this position for almost 10 years as an Administrative Assistant/Office Manager.

I enjoy writing and spend as much time as I possibly can sharing my opinions and knowledge, as well as learning from others. I especially enjoy expressing myself through poetry, and adding my own personal touch to informative articles as well.

I would love to write full time, and perhaps one day I will be able to. Until then, I will continue to enjoy the time I do have to devote to this wonderful form of expression, and hope that others will enjoy it as well, and that it may possibly make a difference in someone's life.

My passion is ...

My parents always told me ...

Always do your very best, and always treat others as you would want to be treated.

My childhood ambition ...

To be a celebrity of some sort

My favorite memory ...

There are so many, but the birth of my children is pretty high up on the list.

Why I write ...

For relaxation, satisfaction and expression.

What I am reading/watching/listening to ...

I am reading a History Novel that my youngest child, age 13, will be doing a book report on.

My first job ...

Cashier in a grocery store at age 15!

My best moment ...

There are many, seeing my children graduate from high school, being able to watch my grandson being born, seeing my children happy, making others happy, some of my best moments are writing.

My inspiration ...

Something deep down inside that I haven't discovered yet.
