About me - Jennifer Corrow

About me

I have always enjoyed writing since I was a young girl. I even had some stoires written out by the time I was 12. In college, I pursued a Mass Communications degree with a leaning towards Broadcasting. The broadcasting adventure never panned out for me after college; however, for four years I developed my skills as an advertising writer for a radio station. That career move also required alot of sales as well, so I defintely broadened my people skills working with different venues.

I did take time off to raise my children which led to running a small business alongside my husband. And now, here I am....trying to get back to what I love. Writing. I enjoyed taking all the creative writing and journalism courses in college, so I hope to put what I learned to good use and prove that I still have something to offer this world.

Creative Writing > Poetry Poetry: Last summer: 40 of 42

On days like today is when I hear my children chant "remember last summer", "remember last summer". It fills my heart with joy to think that they have such fond memories And how they want to create even more this summer. If only summer would hurry it up especially on this dreary spring day when you're trapped in the house. But alas, summer will be here soon enough and then it will be over too quickly. Thus I will hear "remember last summer" all over again.
