: About Me

My work background is in business administration focusing on human resources and legal applications.  I have worked as a career counselor, human resources and benefits administrator, paralegal and information systems advisor.  Communication and written word are my passions.

 I love working with people and have always combined that love with written materials such as newsletters, websites, humorous articles and communication journals.   This past year, I have had articles published on Factoidz where I write on such subjects as career, spirituality and religion, relationships, pets, health and personal travel and experiences.  

Having left the corporate world,  my husband and I relocated to South Carolina and enjoy the weather and many things to do here.  We like to cook, garden, travel, entertain, as well as keeping informed on world events.  We are involved in chuch and charitable events in our community.   We share our home with a nine-year old diabetic whiskered pet, who is quite spoiled.

We call our pet cat "Gombah". His name is Italian - spelled compare - which means "Godfather". With Italian dialect, it comes up sounding like Gombah. Gombah came into our lives 9 years ago when he was one year old and an outdoor cat. Since he seemed to enjoy being outside, and we had a large wooded backyard, it seemed a match made in heaven. Gombah loved prancing around outside and monitoring the garden, chasing chipmunks, squirrels and anything that moved. I would watch him from the deck running a marathon around they yard and dashing up a tree and down again; he really loved it outside....
