I have just discovered writing, and I am loving it. Prior to my new discovery, I worked in various industries, from education to customer service and everything else in between.

After years of dependent work, I am now ready to venture on my own and market the skills and knowledge I have acquired and developed over this time.

I currently post on Helium, Associated Content, and Bukisa. I have published articles covering a variety of interests. Relationships and Family, Crafts, Food, Travel, Party Planning, and Creative Writing are some of my channels. I have also just joined "The Sip of Life," a blogging community aimed at making life a bit brighter.

I always find new and interesting things to dive into. A few of my current and well established interests include research, history, foreign languages, travel, music, and crafts.

I have two children who support me in old and new endeavors, and I love them very much. My profile picture was taken by my daughter as we entered Aquileia (Summer of 2009).
Incidentally, the columns in the background belong to the Forum. My grandparents lived right behind those columns, until the region paid them to move in order to continue with the excavation efforts.

It is great to be part of the Helium community and I am looking forward to a long and rewarding relationship with my fellow writers.

I was ten when we first met The ice on the lake was all set We went skating with friends all around I lost my balance and fell to the ground. You came towards me and offered a hand I never forgot how you helped me stand. Our separate ways we went as we grew But you stayed in my heart, this I knew.
