Phyllis Grimes is a Christian wife and mother of three. She has a bachelors degree in English Literature and Psychology from Swarthmore College and a Masters degree in Social Work from The University of North Carolina- Chapel Hill. She is a certified School Social Worker and is interested in reading and writing about: social influences that affect self-esteem and body image in our culture, child development/parenting issues, wellness, and Christian inspiration and salvation stories.
Even in adulthood, it is sometimes difficult for people to see where they have gone wrong, to admit to their mistakes and to try to make amends, so of course it will be a challenge to teach children to apologize to others. Children are egocentric, and it is a process for them to learn to recognize other people's feelings and to be respectful of them.
