Dear curious reader,
I am an optimist who finds safety in pessimism.
Some of my favorite activities include long walks and stargazing. I love acting and singing. I love to sleep not for love of inactivity, but because I often dream fascinating and insightful dreams. Consciousness never did that much for me. I love dogs and turtles and all manner of small fuzzy things.
My specialty is in sharing my thoughts and experiences through creative writing. My plans include finishing and sharing my many unfinished stories and ideas.
My opinions are strong but few and always informed.
My favorite writers include Shakespeare, Orson Scott Card, Edgar Allen Poe, Gail Carson Levine, Ayn Rand, and many others.
Some of my dislikes include Autumn and crappy lyrics or lyricism.
My greatest hope is that my stories can be shared and accepted.
Sincerely yours,
J. Brown

What I am reading/watching/listening to ...

My first job ...
was in writing. One story for a very nice leather jacket from my mob boss of a sister.
My best moment ...
is yet to be determined.
My inspiration ...
is everything. But mostly my dreams.
Frank was an average man with fewimportant things in his life. He had a job and an apartment and fancied a nice girl. He hated going grocery shopping. He didn't like the way the florescent lights made everyone look pasty. It sort of emphasized the looks they gave him and even more the way they looked away and didn't look back. Today was a normal day at work, just like any other. Frank worked in a cubicle on a floor of a building, but he wasn't quite sure what he did. The small tasks he accomplished were always laborious and monotonous. It wasn't until he needed copies that there ...
