: About Me

I am a 32 year old single mother of a 10 and 5 year old whom live with me full time. I also have a 14 year old daughter who lives with her step mother and grandmother, and 12 year old who was adopted by my mother. Which now I realize that was the best thing for all involved. I don't think that I could ask for a better mother, grandmother, and guardian for my child.

I grew up in a small town in the beautiful western slope of Colorado. I remember camping, fishing, and hunting trips with my father. Sometimes just driving through the mountains, which only now am I able to appreciate the true beauty of the nature we were lucky to experience.

I have spent the last 10 years of my life in a depression and drank heavily. I am proud to say than I am sober and starting to remember the beauty of life.

I have much to write about based on experience. I used to write all of the time, poetry, short stories, and journals. Now that I am doing it again I simply love it. I love reading what others have to say and hopefully learning from that as well. An if I can touch a part of someone else life I will have done my job.

My passion is ...

Writing, helping others, being a caring, compassionate, loving, teacher and student to my children.

I know too much about ...

The effects of alcohol on ones self and the loved ones around them, which now can be used for a positive learning experience. Sometimes we go through things so that hopefully our children do not have to. Or at least they will know the consequence for their choices and actions

My parents always told me ...

My mother always said "I love you know matter what, which I say to my children on a daily basis. My father said "use your best judgement" which I will say to them one day, until then I say use my experiences as your guide to your best judgement.

My childhood ambition ...

I think I wanted to be a teacher or a veterinarian

My favorite memory ...

Camping and fishing

Why I write ...

Because my mind is only so big i have to express it somehow so my thoughts will even out, and others may gain from what I have to say.

What I am reading/watching/listening to ...

I am listening to my favoriate music to write to; Neo soul. (India Arie, Jill Scott, Maxwell, Anthony Hamilton, Erykah Badu, Musiq soul child, just to name a few. so relaxing and enjoyable.

Chosen ones, who decides they are our choices, who makes that decision? You are my chosen ones, and a great choice I must say, all I had to do is ask the good Lord as I pray.
