"A musician, a poet, a crazy boy" is what I was often called by my parents, relatives, friends and acquaintances alike, when I was a child. Nowadays, there are still people who go by that description of me. No wonder: since a very early age, I started to develop clues that I was passionate about language, writing and music; I learned to read at age 4 and I was only 6 years old when I wrote my first short stories. I also wrote songs and poetry during my early years, and such trend did not change as I entered my teens and beyond. Although I am currently not working full time in writing, as I undertook an international business career, I keep the joy of writing well alive as a freelancer, looking forward to work full time on journalism in the near future.
I have lived and traveled through several countries around the world. That has helped me to gain a lot of first-hand knowledge about our planet, different cultures, traditions, views of life, and ways of thinking. I document my experiences through written works and photography, which I enjoy doing more than any other activity.
On the writing arena proper, I have developed a variety of works that have been published in different media. Most remarkably, I have run since 2006 an own blog where I share my thoughts about current issues, and I have been a contributor for Helium since 2009. Additionally, I have been a freelance contributor for local newspapers in Vancouver, Canada.
Being a very spiritual person, I enjoy creative writing and essay writing, most of which are focused on self development and connection to our own minds. I find this fascinating and I plan to publish a book to share those essays and works in the future as well.
My written works and essays have been praised in repeated occasions in the past, I have even been awarded writings in nation-wide contests (essays and short stories, mostly). I would love to be a contributor for written media someday. For now, I am sure that the day I become a full time writer about the world, will really be the day that I will start being paid for doing what I enjoy most in life!

Oh, vacations: The perfect time to liberate the mind and to reconnect to our closest social circles. And also, the perfect time to plan trips with the family. If adventure is what drives you, what can be more exciting than a family trip? Everything is ready for you to hit the roads: Your destination has been selected, your bags are packed, your documents ready and everything seems ready. Time to leave, the fun begins! Now what?
