I am a MMA Fitness trainer, martial artist, triathlete, former closeup magician, retired amateur hockey goalie, financial analyst, retired paintballer, little league coach, XBox 360 gamer, blogger, photographer, black belt in Okinawa Te Karate, black belt in Armas de mano, a comic book collector, writer, producer, network marketer, motivator, full time husband, dad, brother, best friend and a HUNGRY HUNGRY WRITER - I write short stories, articles, columns, films, and received a screenwriting certificate from UCLA.
Oh... and I used to know how to tap dance.
But really, who I am is bound by my Vision or Mission Statement:
My purpose: Why do I exist? What is God's plan for me?
I exist to provide a home, safety, and a promising future for my family. I believe God's plan for me is to inspire people, motivate and influence people to take the first steps to become the best that they can be.
My vision: What is the end or result I can foresee?
While helping others achieve personal goals, I, in turn, will achieve my goals. The end result is success in every aspect of who I am and what I do.
My goals: What do I plan to do? What do I want to do? How can I make it unique?
I plan to create a Vision Statement on my purpose. I want to share this purpose with others in hopes they will roll up their sleeves with me and achieve levels of success they had no hope of achieving before meeting me. I also want to coach, train, and motivate golfers, and triathletes, in their pursuit of excelling in these disciplines. I also believe I can and will influence people towards better health as a leader in business and fitness/nutrition.
My objectives: Why am I doing this? What are my reasons and motivations?
I am doing this because I realize there is more to life than going to work and getting paid. And the only way to get life's fulfillment is to have time to do that. Working a 40 hour week is temporary for everyone God wants us to find out our purpose so we can leave our 'temp' job for good. I am convinced and committed to doing so because I want more time with my family and to develop the relationship we could have I wasn't temporarily stuck where I am.
My plan: How will I do it? With whom? When? Where?
By giving the best I can do to my Vision. I will do this with the support of my family first and foremost and with whoever wants to better themselves. I am doing it right now, every minute of the day, and everywhere I am.
My strategy: How can I refine it? How long will it take? What is my timetable? What resources will I need?
By forming habits within the many different steps to success I believe I can achieve every, and any, goal I set out. I realize that Stephen Covey's 7 habits of highly effective people all can and should coexist with each of Napolean Hill's 15 Success Secrets. I will use VWV Visualize-Write-Visible to keep track of my goals and dreams. My Timetable is: as long as it takes - it is a never ending process. The resources are through real life experiences that I experience as well as from educational materials like leadership books, self improvement books, success books, and certified training as a Life Coach, Fitness Trainer, Motivational Speaker, and Vision54 (Golf54 specifically). Through MonaVie and through network/referral marketing, I can, and will, build a long lasting residual income so my family is not handcuffed by financial woes and bound by the 'lack of time' so we can have the freedom we deserve.
