I was born and raised in Basel, Switzerland. When I turned 19 I moved to California to study English and to explore the United States. Since everything was so new to me and I felt so free, I looked for opportunities to make money to prolong my stay in the US. Eventually I received my green card. I had worked for Southwest Airlines for many years in Los Angeles and later on in Salt Lake City where I also studied Massage Therapy. Eventually I had to make a decision to live a life full of struggles in Salt Lake City or to return to Switzerland. After 17 years of having lived an American Life, I returned to my home country. I work as a Massage Therapist on a part-time basis and write articles for Helium whenever a good subject pops into my mind.
