I live in the Southwestern desert of the USA with my pets and my elderly mother. I am her companion and friend and she is mine. It is a blessing few are able to enjoy in their adult life and I am beyond thankful for the opportunity to spend her last years at her side. The ten years I spent working as a Registered Nurse prepared me wonderfully for this time in my life!
I love my pets. I have two dogs: a yellow lab named Maggie and a white poodle named Sassy. I also have four cats: a mama cat named Tigger and four of her offspring, all toms, named Puff Daddy, King Leonidas (Leon for short), and Ringo (after Ringo Starr).
I love music, especially classic rock such as Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd, Black Sabbath, and the Beatles (just to name a very FEW!) when asked about my religion, I reply, "Music is my religion."
