About me

Heather Harris has been a devoted writer and documentarian since the age of 6 when she was sure that future civilzations would read her diaries to understand the planet Earth - direct correlations between this theory and her status as an only child should be considered.

Harris has worked off and on in the newspaper reporting business for 13 years in the state of Kentucky and has been awarded several Kentucky Press Association Awards for her work in investigative, feature and editorial writing, as well as, photography.

Harris is also the co-author and photographer for the 2001 archival work, Community Voices:The People and Places of Laurel County.Harris currently resides in Kentucky and travels extensively -for pleasure and in the search for the ever unusual anecdote.

they didn't know which was bigger my mouth or my brain, but my mouth got more of a workout

was to an archeologist, or Solid Gold dancer.
