I began by writing poetry when I was very young and moved to short stories which I wrote more for my own amusement than any interest in "becoming a writer." I have started and stopped a dozen novels, but I began with poetry in practice and my first completed work, "Manifest Echoes," is a small collection of my favorites over the years.
My greatest interests and passions are in the spiritual, and idealistic worlds, but I live with my feet on the ground, and in 2002 became an ordained minister through the Universal Life Church, on whose forum I have written numerous pieces mostly on issues of wellness and social justice.
I attended Utah Valley State College (Now Utah Valley University!) and fell in love with the power of social and creative writing. I have written some ridiculously flowery prose, and a lot of arguments on philosophical, spiritual, and social topics.
Mostly, I have lived and loved and learned. I live in a beautiful and savage world, and my experiences have taught me well.
