: About Me

There's not much to say about me I am just a mother of three and a wife. I decided to do this to keep myself thinking and to get back some of the writing skills that I am losing after years of not using them. I would appreciate and welcome any constructive criticism anyone would like to give me. Being a stay at home mom I feel like I need something of my own to do, so I am writing and trying to become an activist. It has always been my desire to make some kind of contribution with my life and while I know that being a mom can be a huge contribution I also believe that as a mother who stays at home I need to have my own thing to prevent myself from being the dreaded "helicopter mommy." Before becoming a mother I was a factory worker and my job went to Mexico which is one of the reasons that I am choosing to become more active pollitically. I have definite opinions and ideas on how to make our country great and believe that if we could just embrace one another even with our differences we could do so much more.

I believe that when a grandparent tries to interfere with the role of the parent it causes resentment and can ultimately cause friction in the relationship between them and their adult children. Grandparents who routinely undermine the authority of the parents do a major disservice to themselves and their grandkids.
